Today is the 7th anniversary of the al-Qaeda attacks on the the United States of America. I make one of these posts every year in a way to help people remember what happened and why we are still at war in Afghanistan hunting Osama bin Laden and the Taliban today.

Words can’t describe how it felt on that day in 2001 when we heard the news that America was under attack on her own soil. There were feelings of sadness, anger, hatred and patriotism all mixed into one emotion. We sat glued to the TV for hours wondering when if there was more to come, wondering what we could do to help.

I’d like to take this post and thank all of our servicemen who have fought to protect America’s freedom. They risk their lives, so that we at home can live normal ones.

These videos are must see videos, especially the first one. For Americans, it will bring up all the emotions you felt on that day and it may make you cry. For my international readers, watching these clips will give you a small look into what it was like during this dark day in America’s history.
