I’ve been reading Calvin Ayre’s blog for about a month or two now and I absolutely love it. I mean, how many billionaires take the time to blog everyday and have their own Myspace account? And I have no doubt that Calvin is the one posting. He doesn’t have some assistant running his blog.

Calvin Ayre is the owner of Bodog, one of the largest online casinos and sports books. I’ve known about Bodog for a couple of years, but first heard about Calvin when he was on the cover of Forbes last year. For more information about him, you can read his wiki.

His biggest issues right now are dealing with a couple of Trolls that stole his domain name (formerly bodog.com). Calvin was forced to move Bodog to a new domain now (now bodoglife.com). Can you imagine other billion dollar companies having to change domain names over night? What if Best Buy had to change domain names? How many customers would they lose? How much money would they lose because of ther SERPs disappearing? It would suck.

But Calvin didn’t let it get to him. According to Calvin’s domain value post, his new domain is worth over $1,000,000 (4 times the worth of his old domain), and that’s just in a few months.

Calvin also posts about events in his life (such as his Halloween parties) and other things he likes (cars). It’s really a personal blog, with a lot of sound business advice thrown into it. It’s really a great read for everyone.
