Today I’ll share with you a very simple and fast, yet effective way to increase your traffic using MyBlogLog. Almost every webmaster blog uses MyBlogLog… you know it as the 5 images on my sidebar of people who visit here. If you aren’t a member, if shows you a picture at the top saying ‘Join this community’ or something.

Some people have pictures of themselves, others have pictures that grab reader’s attention. You’ll often see someone using an image of a sexy girl, or in my case an huge great white shark ready to bite through your monitor. I picked the image of the shark because whenever someone see’s that image on the MyBlogLog they instantly know it’s me and associate that image with my blog. I could have used a picture of myself, but then bloggers who don’t know me well would be like ‘who’s that guy’ instead of ‘hey the shark guy came to my site’.

So anyways, if you aren’t on MyBlogLog already, then sign up…and get yourself a snazzy avatar that people can easily recognize. Next is the traffic building part. Just start clicking away. All you have to do is click on the images in your BlogLog and visit their profiles. Once looking at their profiles, make sure you go to their blogs. This will automatically put you in the top spot on that bloggers MyBlogLog. Then click the 5 avatars on that blog, and do the same…eventually you will reach hundreds of blogs you never knew existed and you’ll be sitting in that top spot on every one of their BlogLogs.

Sure you won’t last long at the top, but while you’re at #1 position for 100 blogs, you are bound to get a couple of hits from people looking to find similar sites to the ones they’re currently reading.

It sounds kind of spammy, but it’s not if you actually take some time to look over the sites you’r clicking on. I’ve found some very good blogs that I never knew about. I usually hang around the blogs on my friends list and don’t venture too far beyond that. But using this MyBlogLog traffic building strategy, you can find new friends too.

Now ifyou really want to make a difference…. post a comment on every blog you go to :-)
