A $200 Surprise

It’s been awhile since I kicked butt with Azoogle, but things are still going steady… On pace for around $40-50 this month. The ringtone offer on Gator Envy is by far my biggest Azoogle earner. I love getting $13-$14 per lead. I’m convinced that once football season starts up, I’ll be making a lot more money from this site through Azoogle.
Yesterday, when I came home from work I stopped to get the mail. I noticed a small envelope with a return address from Azoogle. ‘No way this could be a check,’ I thought. Afterall, I haven’t sent Azoogle my W-9 form yet. But sure enough when I opened it, there was a check for $200.53 looking right at me. This check came just in time! I needed the extra cash.
So I went up to the store, Publix for those of you in the South, to cash my check. A funny thing, the cashier handed me $300 instead of $200! I noticed her counting a little too much when I was standing at the register, but there were a couple people standing around so I didn’t want to recount it in front of her. I took the money outside near my car and recounted it. Sure enough, she gave me an extra $100. I went back inside and returned it to her. He gave me the biggest smile in the world and a huge ‘thank you’. That $100 would have come out of her pocket had it not been returned.
I felt really good after returning the $100. I know a lot of people out there probably would have kept it because they would feel like if the store makes a mistake then that’s their problem. But you know what, it’s still stealing. Returning the money is still the right thing to do. If someone leaves their keys on the counter at a store, does that mean you can take them and steal their car? No.
I really like Azoogle. I don’t like have the only payment option is a check, but they run a lot of good offers that you can make money from. I mean $13 for a ringtone lead?! You can’t beat that.
I need to explore more options on how to incorporate lead offers into my websites, and I suggest you do the same.

That is really good from you david !!!
Yeah, that was a really nice thing to do. I bet that making the cashier/clerk’s day was worth more than the $100 once you heard how appreciative she was.
Also, about Azoogle’s payment options… they offer direct deposit as well. I’m not sure what the minimum payout is for that, but it is a lot less than it used to be.
Being a bank teller, I know that returning that $100 was one of the nicest things you could do! We are all human we can make mistakes.

Wow! It’s really great that you returned the $100, I really believe that good things will happen to you in return.
Thanks guys. I think any of you would have done the same. It was an honest mistake on her part and not one we would take advantage of.
good job returning the money. I just dont feel right when someone gives me too much or charges me too little. I was at a bike race a month or two ago and I registered and the woman never asked for my entry fee, I walked 2 steps away and then turned around and reminded her that I had not paid for the race.
