Well after almost 10 months of waiting, I’ve finally been accepted to Text Link Ads. This blog, along with Pimp Myspace (both PR4 sites) were accepted into the Text Link Ads database late last night. This now brings my total TLA accepted sites to three, Fight Song Lyrics being the third.

I’ve had read on numerous webmaster blogs that TLA can be a nice form of additional revenue. Similar blogs to mine can make up to $100/mo or more, while blogs with insane amounts of traffic (but still PR4) can make over $1000/mo from TLA.

I’ll be setting up the ads on my blog sometime today to test how well they work. Since I’ve pretty much removed Adsense on here all together, it will be nice to see if I can get back into monetizing this site.

Adding TLA to Pimp Myspace will be a whole different story. Well, for one, my traffic on Pimp Myspace is nearly 4000 uniques/day. Combine that with a strong PR of 4, you would think I could make some decent money. However, I don’t know anyone who has tested TLA on a Myspace site. I wonder if advertisers buy ads for those sites since historically the users are very low converters.

It will be fun to test, and I will definitely keep everyone posted.

BTW, April is almost over and I think I’ve set an all-time record for my earnings! More details tomorrow.
