Pagerank Updates
I’m sure by now most of you have heard that Google is at it again with quarterly pagerank updates (or pagerank export… whatever you want to call it). Everything is still moving up and down, but I thought it would be fun to post what the datacenters are showing about my sites. A lot of mine are still showing 0 or showing no changes, but I do have a couple of surprises.
Here’s a nice little tool Iwebtool.com has. It is a visual pagerank checker. Here’s the tool used for my site.

It’s hard to say what is going on, because my blog homepage, www.lithman.net is still showing PR0, but the subpages About Me and Contact me are PR3. Weird huh? Joe Mauer is showing PR3, but Ryan Howard is showing PR0. Weird huh?
Layout Pimps and Myspace Directory are still showing PR1. Fight Song Lyrics is also still showing PR4.
But the weirdest thing of all is what the hell happened to Free Myspace Layouts? If you go to the actual page it is showing PR6 with all sub pages PR4 !?!?! WHAT ?!?! This site is hardly a few months old and I haven’t touched it since launch. How is it PR6 ? All the datacenters are showing PR6 too, so something tells me it’s legit.
This whole update is wigging me out. I don’t think Google themselves knows whats going on. Some stuff is being updated, some isn’t. Subpages are being updated, but main pages aren’t. I don’t remember an update ever being like this. Maybe some of you readers can shed some light on me.
We might just have to wait another week or two before everything is straightened out. In the mean time, enjoy the chaos!
The weird thing is. My zerotomed.com is showing a PR0, but one of my actual posts is showing a PR2. It’s very odd, but I can see that other people are having similar situations. Maybe in the next week or so, things will clean up. According to iwebtool, zerotomed.com should be a PR4…But it’s still PR0.

Nice man, your pagrank is really increasing.
The only thing I’ve noticed is that the PR for my sites keeps dropping to zero and then back up to the levels before. I was hoping to get one of my sites up to a PR6 on this update but I’m not seeing any change in the data centers despite thousands of new high quality links.
